Oral epidemiology

Standardised oral-epidemiological cross-sectional surveys by:

  • Small children (2-years-old). Caries prevalence, dietary habits, oral hygiene practices and immigrant background.
  • School children (7- to 14-years-old). dmft, DMFT, DFS, SiC, dietary habits, oral hygiene practices. Follow-up over 45 years.
  • Swiss army recruits (20-years-old). DMFT, DFS, caries risk indicators. Follow-up over 35 years.
  • Adults (20-to 79-years-old). DMFT, periodontal status, prosthetic status, demographic variables.
